Initial setup is out of a standard 4 Low set.
- The play begins with the weak side block setting a cross screen for the strong side block, if you catch the defense off guard there may be an open layup on the weak side.
- After setting the screen, the cross screener (O5) will receive a screen from the corner (O2) looking for an open shot in the strong side corner or a quick post from O2.
- O1 in the weak side corner should head towards the top of the key as a safety.
- See UMass Strong Side Block Seal and Screen for Corner Three as an alternate sequential play after running this. Ater the defense starts recognizing the pattern of the cross screen in the screen the screener from the original play, this gives a fresh look that may catch the defense off guard.]
